On Message with Communications

OLA Communications Strategy meeting takes place in Ardfoyle.

A two day strategy meeting took place in Ardfoyle on February 11 and 12. The objective of the meeting was centered around the call of Pope Francis “to understand how to enter into dialogue with the men and women of today in order to appreciate their desires, their doubts and their hopes.” 

The face of communications has changed dramatically over the past 20 years and it will continue to evolve at great pace. Our communications' goal is inspired by the words of Fr. Planque: 'To know and love God so as to make God known and loved through dialogue with others on the joy of the Gospel'.

“It’s not enough to be passersby on the streets and digital highways of our world: rather we must keep open the doors of our churches and our digital environments so that people can enter and the Gospel message can reach to the ends of the ear.”
