Celebrating Over 420 Years of Service

Seven Sisters to mark jubilees which amount to over 420 years of service combined.

This Saturday, March 5th, will see a special celebration in Ardfoyle as seven OLA Sisters will mark their jubilees. The combined years of service between all seven amounts to over 420 years of active ministry. Srs. Phil Mulligan, Agnes Haverty and Jo Cox will mark 50 years. Sr. Marian Hankard will celebrate 60 years while Srs. Ligouri Smiddy and De Pazzi Farrell have each given 70 years of service. Sr. Teresa O'Brien will mark a very special 75 years of service. We remember especially Dorothy O'Brien who passed away on Sunday last and was also due to celebrate her platinum jubilee (70 years).
